Meet the Founders
Husniye Has
Clinical Director
Husniye Has is a Senior Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and co-founder of Verus Minds Psychological Services, where she leads on clinical practice. She holds a postgraduate qualification in CBT from UCL and Royal Holloway, University of London, and has over a decade of experience delivering evidence-based psychological therapy across NHS Talking Therapies services in London.
Husniye began her career working with community organisations across the capital, supporting individuals to access mental health services and advocating for those who are often underserved. She also gained experience within secure inpatient settings, supporting people through admission and their transition back into the community. Since completing her CBT training, she has spent over 12 years working within NHS services, helping adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and related difficulties.
Husniye co-founded Verus Minds to bring high-quality, thoughtful psychological care to more people. As Clinical Lead, she shapes the clinical vision of the practice and carries out initial assessments to ensure each client is carefully matched to the right support and treatment pathway. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and firmly grounded in evidence-based practice.
