Meet the Founders
Husniye Has
Clinical Director
Husniye Has is a Senior Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and co-founder of Verus Minds Psychological Services, where she leads on clinical practice. She holds a postgraduate qualification in CBT from UCL and Royal Holloway, University of London, and has over a decade of experience delivering evidence-based psychological therapy across NHS Talking Therapies services in London.
Husniye's career began in community mental health services across London, where she worked closely with individuals often overlooked by mainstream care, helping them find their way to support and advocating for their needs. This early experience, alongside time spent in secure inpatient settings supporting people through admission and the delicate transition back into community life, shaped the compassionate, grounded approach she brings to her work today.
Over more than 12 years within the NHS, Husniye has supported adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and other life-altering difficulties. She became BABCP accredited in 2020 and now works as a Senior CBT Therapist, with a particular interest in perinatal mental health - a field close to her heart.
Husniye co-founded Verus Minds with a simple belief: that thoughtful, high-quality psychological care should be within reach for more people. As Clinical Lead, she shapes the clinical direction of the practice and personally conducts initial assessments, ensuring every client is thoughtfully matched with the support and treatment pathway best suited to them. Her approach is warm and collaborative, always rooted firmly in evidence-based practice.
